Scrabble Competition
General Rules:
- Maximum capacity for scrabble competition is 30 participants
- Participant must be a high school or university student proven with the student ID card
- Participant must be unrated by ISF or ISF rating must be below 1200
- Participants must arrive to the venue at least 15 minutes before the competition starts.
- Participants are suggested to bring their own stationery
- Participants are allowed to bring their own calculator
- Participants must bring their own scrabble timer
- All participants are not allowed to bring any dangerous weapons, sharp tools, liquids, and properties which can disturb the continuity of the competition
- All participants are not allowed to use any communication tools during competition
- All participants are not allowed to leave the venue during the competition without permission from the committee
- Additional rules will be added by the committee if needed
Competition Rules:
- The competition will be using WESPA Rules
- Competition will be held within 2 days
- No elimination in this competition, all participants should participate within the whole competition
- There will be 15 rounds, 9 rounds for the first day and 6 rounds for the second day
- The first 8 rounds will be using Australian draw system where players will be paired base on their ranking without repeating the pairs
- The other 7 rounds with King of the Hill system where players will be paired base on their Victory Point and total margins
- CSW15 Dictionary will be used for word validity
